民国时期，中华大地军阀混战，日本在东北扶持伪满洲政权，伺机部署侵华计划。当时远东古玩黑市出现大量关外文物，中央文物保护组织开始了“守护国宝”的系列行动，在远东铁路枢纽哈尔滨秘密开设了一条国宝专线，将在关外收集到的国宝通过这条铁路专线运往关内。
