故事发生在1942年的晋察冀地区，八路军为了宣传日军对中国军民的残酷迫害，派战地记者搜集并拍摄证据，把拍成的照片印成画报进行宣传，当时的日军为了打击中国军民的抗日气势，开始对宣传用的油墨进行大肆的垄断。为了弄到油墨，身为卫生员的王翠娥总想跟政委申请去城里弄油墨，性格直爽的她执行接应战地记者孙汉的任务时偶遇土匪罗胡子，发生了一系列幽默搞笑的事，翠娥面对日本鬼子临危不惧，智取做油墨的原料猪油，为了剿灭日军小分队打算英勇就义的翠娥被看在眼里的罗胡子感动，激起了爱国情结，救出被日军抓到的翠娥和孙。Late on Guy Fawkes Day, 1892, Oscar Wilde arrives at a high-class brothel where a surprise awaits: a staging of his play "Salome," with parts played by prostitutes, Wilde's host, his lover Bosey, and Lady Alice.
