珠宝设计师温栀因一次意外救了时老爷子，时老爷子想撮合温栀和孙子时宴，为二人定下婚约。时宴不满婚约，一气之下出国三年，三年间温栀和时宴从没见过面，没想到第一次见面竟然是在床上。。A new season starts with Liz temporarily moves in with Jeff and Audrey, and quickly irritates Audrey when she takes Jeff’s side on everything. Meanwhile, Adam and Timmy team up to beat the rest of the company at ping pong.。故事主线讲述一名开通的爷爷张通，因儿子及媳妇突于飞机失事，他遂负起照顾男孙子辉，孙女佩玲、佩丽、佩珊的责任。一家人相亲相爱，却又常因各人性格不同，产生不少拗撬，发生很多事故。子辉毕业后，进入广告公司工作。故事会从子辉这个人物，带出办公室政治，将其中种种矛盾之处，以嬉笑怒骂的方式加以讽刺，令人会心微笑。。
