已婚女子洪郦被杀，警方排查中，其夫丁志涛与家中小保姆的陈述不符。警察通过死者的通话记录，找到一家话吧。随后死者手机的现在使用者被查到，但其说手机是别人还钱的抵押品。案情至此扑朔迷离。在那家话吧老板的配合下，警方找到案发前常与死者联络的人，这人是记者，正在暗访医院内部黑幕，而死者生前握有证据。之后，证据被小保姆找见，不料报警后却被人劫持。原来丁志涛怕罪行外泄，雇人杀妻。经过警方不懈努力，罪犯终被绳之以法。。It’s 2011 and we’re in Rome.
