They might have to ask themselves: How much can the people of the world come true before they harm their relative...。本片根据真实故事改编。2001年秋，一对户外旅行人员在人迹罕至的深山老林中发现了两位老人，他们竟是四十多年前从村中失踪的石山（王诗槐饰）和红姑（谢兰饰）。如今的他们仿佛生活在刀耕火种的原始社会，住在自造的土屋内，点着自造的油灯，吃着自种的粮食，喝着山涧的泉水，所有的一切都自给自足。几十年来，他们生育了儿女，也收获了坚贞。近半个世纪过去了，石山靠一双手在山上俢凿了6000多级石阶，为的是不让自己的那个她出门摔跤，而他自己也从一个黒发后生变成了白发老翁，那6000级石阶被人称为“爱情天梯”，亘古的爱情令人深思......。大夏战火纷飞，叶无风在国家危难之际，在国家的号召下从军，而妻子徐婉儿怀有身孕。叶无风在战场上横扫敌人，因为担心间谍祸害家人，只能隐姓埋名，不敢与家人联系，并且一路晋升。妻子苦尽甘来，而这一天，叶无风终于归来。。
