Asking the gang for advice about a romantic place to pop the question without tell...。靠已亡故的姐姐陶碧槐（谢玲玲）和差点成为姐夫的江淮（秦汉）的不断资助和鼓励，在英国念戏剧的陶丹枫（林青霞）终于学成归国。而由于不断的通信，她和江淮已生出“恋情”。在与姐姐的生前好友谈话时，姐姐不是因心脏病而是江淮另外爱上了别的女人而死的念头从陶丹枫心头冒出，她立誓查出姐姐死亡的真相，并决定报复江淮。
