人鬼能否相恋？一只女鬼爱上了年轻英俊的马素（罗莽 饰），于是找到她的父亲帮她提亲。马素得知后吓得魂不附体，毅然拒绝。可是女鬼并没放弃，她得知马素暗恋漂亮女孩红卜卜，于是设法让红卜卜死于车祸，然后借尸还魂。马素见到暗恋已久的女孩主动投怀送抱，喜不自胜，两人开始了一起生活。生活中每当马素有什么不如意，女鬼都会运用自己的能力帮他排忧解难。但天下没有不透风的墙，马素终于知道了恋人原来是那只喜欢自己的女鬼……。
