民国年间，清末将领彭飞和其师父巴特鲁二人，为保护国宝“凤凰琉璃盏”而勇敢与日本忍者杀手浴血奋战，期间在蓝天龙、蓝凤凰和阿四等众多正义人士的帮助下消灭强敌，保护了国宝。同时，彭飞等江湖义士经此过程也找到了真正报效国家的光明大道。。一家在三更时分营业的旅店“三更客栈”，既是接收存放尸体的义庄，又是活人歇脚的旅店，在关闭十年之后，重新开张，吸引来了几拨不速之客。客人的目的竟然都是要认领一具死去数年的尸体，为此几位客人各执一词，讲述自己跟这具尸体之间各种离奇的关联。。In 1966, a famous actor (Peter O'Toole) is taken by a rowboat to a fabulous old hotel on an island in the middle of a lake.
