民国初年，清宝村马家大夫人正在为其因病去世的大孙子马不明举办阴婚，突然纸新娘离奇复活，现场一片混乱。阴阳半仙认为是其二孙子马不快因血跟纸新娘结了孽缘，从而被纸新娘缠上，必须送他离开马宅。十一年后，马不快携恋人李招娣回乡谈论婚嫁之事，不料在他回到马宅后诡异命案接连发生，不信任何鬼神怪论的他认为此事另有蹊跷，决定亲自解开谜团，并且在这过程中逐渐了解到一段尘封已久的恩怨。。年轻女医生Tatiana Yurievna（奥莎娜·阿金什那 Oksana Akinshina 饰）因为使用具争议的技术而差点被吊销医师执照。但她被军方招募来到一个机密的研究机构，协助研究一个特别的案例，太空人Konstantin Sergeyevich（彼得·费奥多罗夫 Pyotr Fyodorov 饰）。这位太空人历经神秘的太空意外后幸存返回地球，体内却多了外星生物，而且这个神秘生物只在深夜时现身。军方想拥有这个外星生物进行邪恶的计划，但女医生只想阻止外星生物杀害太空人。。Simone inherits a dilapidated farmhouse in France and makes her way there with her husband Eric and their two children.
