剧社职员阿信（陈友 饰）刚与妻子离婚不久，便与带略有神经质的女友百佳（梅艳芳 饰）开始了同居生活。新的生活让阿信感到十分惬意，但正当两人浓情蜜意的时候，之前搬了出去的前妻惠康（夏文汐 饰）因为生意失败走头无路，又搬了回来。一边是新的女友，一边是前妻，阿信感到尴尬不已却又无可奈何。同时，剧社台柱华仔（钟镇涛 饰）与惠康一见如故，相谈甚欢，不知为何阿信又大为紧张，就是这一屋两妻的生活上演了一幕幕闹剧。。The woman at the other end of Sam's marriage proposal over the telephone is Diane. Although overwhelmed by the proposal, she was neither expecting it or wanting it to be the way to which she is proposed.
