本作叙述二大宗教佛教与基督教的创始者——佛祖和耶稣，两人在度过世纪末后到人间度假，在东京一起租了间公寓过生活的故事。剧情大多围绕在二人与现代社会的互动以及各种取材自佛教与基督教的题材元素上。。许氏总裁许自均和妻子上山求子救下贪吃小白蛇，小白蛇为报恩投胎做女儿。妻子在即将分娩时遭遇车祸，诞下一女许兜兜后离世，不久许兜兜也在医院中丢失，许自均苦苦寻找无果。。Horrible Histories is back with a special episode delving in to the life and times of the world's most famous writer.
