Written by Rob Hartill。讲述了中学语文教师盖琨有真才实学，也自命不凡。一直觉得自己在学校里没有得到重用，怀才不遇。职称评定时他跳级申报却被学校驳回，即丢了面子有没得到一点实际好处，尤其被家里的市侩老婆折磨的苦不堪言。家里经济拮据，又顾全面子不愿从家教的学生身上多收费用，于是盖琨和妻子的矛盾不断发生。。
