No...。韩国女孩知恩（夏希罗 饰）的父母都是开明的知识分子，因此家庭中的民主气氛浓厚，也就造就了知恩与生俱来的民主精神。大发（崔民秀 饰）出身于典型的专制型韩国家庭，在家里无论对错晚辈总是得听长辈的。偏偏这么一对凑在了一起，知恩与大发相爱了，并很快结了婚。这下，这两个完全不一样的家庭碰在了一起，家里简直成专制与民主精神斗争的战场，因而也笑料百出。
日子一天天过去了，两家人都慢慢起着变化。在知恩的倡导下，大发家开始慢慢变得民主，而知恩家却……。
