A reclusive scientist builds a robot that looks exactly like him to go on a long-term space mission. Since the scientist seems to lack all emotions, he is unable to program them into his automaton, and an eccentric woman is hired to "educate" the robot on human behavior. In the end, she falls in love... but is the robot or the Dr. Mr. Right?。该片讲述了10位竞争者为了一百万美元的奖金而奋力一搏。。男子周达义（林立三饰）失踪多月，少妇何韵文（翁虹饰）承认谋杀亲夫。她先以铁锥击毙丈夫，再以电锯和斧头肢解尸体，并把肢体烹熟，分批扔掉。不过， 少妇患有精神分裂症，而且至今仍未能寻出“死者”的死亡证据，例如毛发、血渍、碎骨等。到底全是出于少妇的幻想，还是真有其事?。
