When a casino owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy to prep his retaliation. He also stumbles on to an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins。俊（谢霆锋 饰）热爱柔道没，在外国留学的他因为姐姐珊（梁艺玲 饰）结婚回到香港，因而认识了柔道高手彬（元华 饰）。彬的身手让俊着迷，想拜彬为师却遭到姐姐的反对，原因是彬意外破坏了珊的婚事。无奈，彬只好派自己的妹妹晶晶（张燊悦 饰）教导俊。晶晶的苛刻让俊十分吃不消，俊竟决定假意追求晶晶，好让她传授自己绝技。
