故事叙述金在元是一个平凡人家的长子，且正在大学读书；朴率美则是在大学当讲师；金孝珍则是金在元青梅竹马的朋友兼同学并从小暗恋着他，但却是妹有情来郎无意；金来元在本剧中则是个苦追金孝珍的富家子弟；另一女主角笛木优子饰演小时候因车祸父母双亡并造成听力障碍的美术系学生，也是金在元暗恋但不敢表白只好借用网路用假名对她传送诗集音乐的对象，直到有一天她回信给金在元，从此两人成为网路恋人。。赵麟原本是京城下的乞丐，却被神智不清流落在外的当今三公主殿下苏若雪错认成弟弟，赵麟几番想甩掉她，却屡次失败。两人历经坎坷和磨难，为了给苏若雪看病，赵麟在一众士子中脱颖而出拿到赏银却发现苏若雪不见了。赵麟苦寻不得解，最终阴差阳错被抓入天牢。。A psychological drama taking place during a day and a night in the life of a young family living in a beautiful house by the sea in the village of Sandur in the Faroe Islands.
