《东北插班生》讲述了东北黑道之子王虎转学到台湾一所问题高中，无意间撞坏高校总长交接仪式，得罪台北高校老大，而由于王虎个性鲜明及南北文化差异，东北热血少年与台湾艋舺少年之间碰撞出一系列爆笑故事。影片以南北少年间文化冲突为主线，抓取典型场景，表现东北扛把子与台北艋舺少年间难以调和矛盾的同时，在打闹中又把双方惺惺相惜的热血气表现的淋漓尽致。导演起承转合间便将兄弟义气倾泻而出，而这热血情义也猝不及防的唤起了受众遥远的青春记忆。。The ship has been stuck in the doldrums for some time, but as soon as they break free into more promising water, the wind blows up suddenly, damaging the foremast and sending the ship right back into the still water.
