Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut.
Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。1934年（昭和9年）日本的汽车需求急剧增加。除欧洲厂商外，美国的福特和通用汽车也正式进入日本市场，日本汽车市场进入战国时代。在爱知县经营通用汽车销售店“日出汽车”的山崎亘（内野圣阳饰）一贯反对美国厂商不平等的销售方针，常常要求美方改进做法。但总部位于大阪的日本通用汽车对他的意见置之不理。 一天，在从大阪回名古屋的路上，山崎遇到了在山路边修理试验车的爱知佐一郎（佐藤浩市饰），这次相遇成为两人命运的交汇，之后佐一郎为了做大做强日本国产汽车而殚精竭虑，山崎则开设“爱知汽车”销售一号店，担负起销售爱知汽车并扶持爱知汽车发展的重担。他们带领着一群以制造国产汽车、销售国产汽车为梦想的人，走上了坎坷但可歌可泣的道路。谨以此片，向为振兴国家事业而努力的每一个人致敬！。在天下失序、列强割据的时代，僧人祥庵将一名孤儿从中国带到了日本。孤儿名叫仔太郎，他背负着一个惊人的秘密，中国的某武装组织追着他也到了日本。
祥庵死后，孤苦无依的仔太郎带着爱犬飞丸前往赤池之国的万觉寺，在途中遇见了神秘剑士“无名”。仔太郎遭到追杀，危急时刻无名救了他一命。从此两人结伴同行。性格乖僻的浪人和紧闭心扉的少年虽然磕磕碰碰不断，但渐渐成了好朋友。
白鸾率领的追杀组织还是抓住了仔太郎，他们开始着手筹备某种仪式。金发碧眼的剑士“罗狼”也是追杀组织中的一员，他虽然听命行事但并不真正在意组织的目的，对他来说，寻找可以与自己匹敌的对手才是生命的意义。而罗狼与无名之间的生死对决也拉开了帷幕……。
