Joanna's holiday is shattered when her sisters tell her that their dad has dumped, he isn't responding to any calls and disappeared to a Caribbean island. The sisters decide to go to save their father and bring him home for Christmas.。高田裕三のコミックを原作にしたアニメ作品。本作は1992年の旧ＯＶＡ、1998年のテレビアニメに続いて制作された新ＯＶＡシリーズとなる。なお３つのシリーズは、すべて設定や世界観が異なっている。高校生・夏目龍之介の家に居候することになったヌクヌクこと樋口温子。ヌクヌクに恋心を抱く龍之介だが、実は彼女の正体は、猫の心を持つ戦闘用「アンドロボット」だった。そんな折、ヌクヌクを作った三島重工が、彼女を追って攻撃を開始。龍之介や町の人々を守るため、ヌクヌクはバトルモードに変身する……。ギャグ＆ドタバタ路線が強かった旧ＯＶＡ、テレビアニメから作風を変更。シリアスなストーリーや、ヌクヌクと龍之介の恋愛模様などを盛り込み、新たな展開を見せている。 第1話 『幸せは春風と共に』 第2話 『真夜中の猫たち』 第3話 『近くて遠い二人の距離』 第4話 『晶子さんの憂うつ』...。Avery Malone, a wannabe writer and lonely librarian, gets her big break when she's hand-selected to assist her hero, reclusive author, Caleb Conrad.
