侵略者イルミダス占領下の地球からアルカディア号で脱出したハーロック（S-00999）・大山トチロー（S-00998）とエメラルダス（X-00001）は、コードナンバーSSXとして全宇宙に指名手配され、イルミダス軍の攻撃を受けながらも、異星人のラ・ミーメなどの仲間とともに大宇宙のどこかにあると信じる理想郷「アルカディア」を探して旅を続けていく。その戦いの中で、地球人の少年物野正と少女レビ、有紀螢、そして船医としてドクター蛮が仲間に加わる。 一方、イルミダス地球占領軍はアルカディア号を超える艦を建造するため、若き天才科学者Mr.ゾーンにアルカディア号を分析調査するよう命じた。そしてMr.ゾーンもまた大宇宙へと旅立ち、アルカディアを目指す。。Follows a group of girlfriends from Assam and Meghalaya, north-eastern states in India, gathering in the back streets of Delhi to throw a secret wedding party for a soon-to-be bride.
