菲力在蚂蚁王国里并不怎么受欢迎，尽管他发明了先进的收割机，然而阴差阳错，他竟然惹了大祸，公主妹妹小不点因此被蝗虫敌人捉去，而且蚂蚁的粮食也受到了蝗虫的威胁。即使菲力救出了小不点，但还是被赶出蚂蚁王国。只有他在外面的世界找到了对付蝗虫的办法，才有可能回到家园。
