Fårö Document 1979 is the ten-year followup to the first documentary Bergman made about his adopted home, Fårö, where he filmed many of his best works and lived until the end of his life。为阻止日军增援，荷花与胡水生用麻袋背鬼子，并与新四军取得联系，对敌人发起袭击。日军依靠民房进行顽抗。荷花点燃民房，新四军发起冲锋，全歼了胡家台的敌人。。
