华裔女青年司唯（唐加思 饰）从美国回家乡福州，背包里带着奶奶的遗物——脱胎漆器梳妆盒。一次意外撞车，司唯与快递小哥林榕生（黄远 饰）被卷入一宗赌场爆炸案中，两人意外拿到了赌场钱箱，司唯的背包被三个傻贼拿走，两段回家路由此展开……。讲述菜鸟社畜闯荡职场的冒险故事，社会新鲜人（范少勋饰）阴错阳差下进入一家周刊社成为业务菜鸟，一路上遇到一群令人又爱又恨的公司同侪，所发生一连串荒谬怪诞却又真实反映职场生活的成长奋斗史。Jimmy is the only man who, after his divorce, still has to deal with his disapproving, meddling mother-in-law.
