在关于爱情、失去和渴望的三个故事中，孤独的灵魂在大城市忙碌的生活中找到了意想不到的情感共鸣和陪伴。一场意外让夏菲菲（张玉嬿 饰）结识了中国青年姚浩谦（李天柱 饰），两人坠入了情网。之后，姚浩谦回到国内，被迫接受了父母所安排的婚姻，与此同时，夏菲菲的腹中已经怀上了姚浩谦的骨肉，她默默的将孩子生了下来取名夏平安（贺军翔 饰）。
一晃眼多年过去，夏平安在母亲的辛苦抚养下长大成人成为了一名游泳运动员，借着参加比赛，夏平安回到了国内，而和他相恋多年的女友周语晨却因为考虑到现实的问题而同他渐行渐远。祸不单行的夏平安退疾复发被迫离开了赛场，然而，他并没有自暴自弃，而是从零开始学做起了厨师。在此过程中，夏平安结识了名为李若愚的女孩。。Brief Meetings is about a love triangle between three very different people.
