Manichithrathazhu中女舞者Nagavalli的宅院看似並非豪宅，但卻有陳舊的真實感，沒有特效，但故事的陳述跟鋪呈，卻讓觀眾真的跟著這對新婚夫妻住進宅院後，發生一連串的怪事而引起好奇。畢竟電影不是真正的鬼片有向好萊塢電影或現在很多的亞洲電影故意要嚇觀眾的設計，所以其實150年前的傳說背景是十分重要，加上配合主角們之間的關係，讓觀眾一方面進入故事的本身，一方面也真的有些如看偵探小說一樣想知道（猜測）事實的真相。。In 1968, five friends set out on a 5,000-mile road trip in a white Ford van bound for South America.
