前警视厅特殊犯罪搜查系（SIT）主任真壁有希子（天海佑希 饰）因其女性身份和干练直率的作风受到同侪弹劾指摘，继而被刑事部长乡原政直（草刈正雄 饰）调往刚刚成立不久的搜查一课紧急案件对应审讯班，该部门由梶山胜利（田中哲司 饰）坐镇，麾下另有菱本进（点点 饰）、中田善次郎（大杉涟 饰）和小石川春夫（小日向文世 饰）等三位大叔。有希子的到来难免引来大叔们的侧目，而搜查一课的刑警们又厌恶审讯工作被该部门抢走，因此对紧急审讯室颇有不满。
在案件调查日渐规范化的今天，嫌疑人的供词成为定案的关键。可是警方所面临的是因各种原因或者沉默寡言或者狡猾周旋的对手，有希子一次次和同事走进审讯室，执着追索着案件背后的真相……。London 1864.
