本剧以主妇こだま的自传改编，描述发现丈夫・研一（中村苍）的性器插不进来，仍持续与对方交往并结婚的女性渡边（山本）久美子（石桥菜津美）为主角的故事。。On Christmas Eve in 1968 six-year-old army brat Clairee simultaneously learns the hard truth about Santa Claus and the realities of war. Her bullying older brother Mickey informs her that Santa insn't real and that their absent father is actually far away, serving his country in the Vietnam War。
